Acupressure and Reflexology Foot Massage: a Connection that Helps the Body Breathe Again

Touch that Restores Energy Flow

Every day we stand, walk, run… and yet we often forget that our feet carry our entire body.

Each foot contains a network of more than 60 acupressure points that correspond to individual organs and parts of the body. By stimulating them, you can release tension, strengthen immunity and calm the mind.

Acupressure is an ancient technique that uses finger, palm and thumb pressure to influence energy pathways (meridians). At Eden’s Garden we combine it with reflexology foot massage, which helps the body restore balance naturally.

“We often say that reflexology is like having a conversation with the body – through the feet we hear what it needs.”
– Eden’s Garden therapists

How Acupressure Works

According to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, energy (Qi) flows through the body. When its flow becomes blocked by stress, fatigue or overload, pain, tiredness or irritability begin to appear.

Acupressure works precisely on these blocks. Pressure on specific points activates nerve endings, stimulates blood circulation and triggers the self-healing process. The effect is often immediate: after a few minutes the body begins to warm up, breathing deepens and tension disappears.

Reflexology Foot Massage: a Gentler Form of Acupressure

Reflexology is a natural and relaxing way to use the effects of acupressure. While classic acupressure can be more targeted and intense, reflexology therapy works with pressure more gently, but for a longer time.

Reflex zone Affects
Toe tips Brain, sinuses, eyes, ears
Middle of foot Stomach, liver, pancreas
Heels Pelvis, lower back, nervous system
Foot edges Shoulders, arms, hips

💡 Each foot is a mirror of the body. When the therapist releases a certain point, the client often feels relief in a distant place – for example in the lower back or neck.

Acupressure Massage at Eden’s Garden

The massage begins with a brief consultation where the therapist determines your needs – e.g. fatigue, headaches, stress or sleep disorders. Then she combines acupressure pressure techniques with flowing reflexology strokes to release the body holistically.

During the massage:

  • natural, warm oils are used,
  • pressure is adapted to sensitivity,
  • points on feet, palms and neck are stimulated,
  • the therapist guides you to deep breathing.

At the end, you enjoy a few minutes of peace and a cup of tea to replenish fluids and complete the regeneration process.
